ZOOM Discussion 6:30 pm
This discussion will be based on a BTG interview with Śrīla Prabhupāda on the bicentennial exactly 50 years ago & published in the magazine (linked in the discussion section of this event). His Divine Grace talked about the rogue mentality of the European migrants who claimed proprietary rights on this country once they got here and & settled/then hypocritically inventing immigration policy in this country (not allowing anyone else in subsequently).
Now, a half century later, on today's semiquincentennial it's exponentially worse - the SCOTUS has authorized ICE to cruelly separate non-white children from their families, locking them in concentration camps and deporting them to dangerous hell holes like Haiti.
We will take turns reading, talk about related current events in the light of history and śastra (scripture), then strategize how we can use this information to favorably serve Kṛṣṇa and protect our most vulnerable hard-working/tax-paying neighbors/children of God - created in His image, ("Imago Dei), but happen to have been born with a black or brown skin color and are thus dehumanized, tortured & deported.
This event will not happen unless at least one person RSVP's "going" before 6:30 pm & actually logs on between the window of 6:30 & 6:40.
