Jesus did not command his followers to build a Christian nation. He commanded them to love, feed, welcome, and tell the truth. Is the Great Commission about "Christian Nationalism," or personal salvation alone, or is it more about what Jesus commanded his disciples to live out in the world?
We will read and discuss Jesus' final commandment before his Ascension to his disciples in Matthew 28:16-20, it's similarity to Prahlāda's prayers to Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva in ŚB 7.9.43 & 44. We will discuss the two contrasting events - the ACLU day of action happening today in Montgomery, AL, as opposed to the heretical hypocrisy which will be on full display for 9 hours on the National Mall tomorrow at what is pitched as "Rededicate 250" during which Trump will personally appear to promote Christian nationalism...
