ZOOM Discussion @ 6 pm
Last weekend, the '26 NFL Draft occurred in here in Pittsburgh. Almost a million (805,000) people broke the all-time attendance record. The whole town was shut down. Even city schools. Even congregational mantra yoga at ISKCON Pittsburgh.
This event will not happen unless at least one person RSVP's "going" & actually logs on between the window of 6 & 6:10 pm. This discussion will be based the quote by Orwell from his dystopian novel 1984 & linked in the discussion section of this event. First, we will play a short 1 min. video of the narration, then take turns reading from from the 7th Canto of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam in a leadup to Narasiṃha Caturdaśī on Thursday the 30th when my own dear Ugra-Narasiṃha murti will allow His devotees to bath Him with flowers (Puṣpā Abhiṣeka)
along with His child devotee Prahlāda Maharaja, who is one of the 12 mahājanas (great souls) in our saṃpradāya (disciplic succession) who has shown the world the most exalted example of compassion for the fallen souls who are so busy wasting their time in frivolous pursuits for temporary "happiness."…
